Hydrogen Day at the Science Center
Saturday, August 23, 2008, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Hydrogen Road Tour

The Hydrogen Road Tour demonstrates progress and commitment toward commercially viable, emissions-free hydrogen vehicles which will ultimately help promote America’s energy independence, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve air quality while preserving safety and U.S. jobs.

Hydrogen powered passenger vehicles and transit busses from several manufacturers will travel across the country starting in Portland, Main, on August 11, 2008 and finishing in Los Angeles, California, on August 23, 2008 at the California Science Center. The Tour will visit 31 cities in 18 states and the District of Columbia in 13 days. At each stop, the Tour will provide media, invited VIPs and the public with a hands-on experience with the vehicles. Most stops will also highlight hydrogen-related programs already happening in the region.

Visit www.hydrogenroadtour.com for the complete schedule and more information about the tour stops.
