Masters of Science
Full Day!
Find out about the lives and ideas of famous scientists from ancient to modern times. Learn about the world-changing achievements of scientists like Galileo and Newton while doing experiments similar to their own! This class covers a wide variety of subjects, from physics to biology. This class will go to Knott's Berry Farm on Thursday and will return at 5 pm.

Skate Science
Full Day!

Carve out time this summer to explore the mechanics of skating. Using skateboarding as the springboard, put your “goofy-foot” forward as you dissect ollies, vert skating and all the other physics of phun on wheels. Engineering will be highlighted when participants build and design their own skateboard that will be theirs to keep.

This class highlights the science of skating and not how to perform tricks. Each participant is required to provide their own safety equipment including helmet, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads.

Delve into the medical industry and learn how various organs function by dissecting rats. Take a tour of the BODY WORLDS 3 exhibit at the Science Center, and by the end of the week you will earn your M.D. certificate – Museum Doctor that is.
