Destination:
Space
What
does it take to keep a human alive in space? Explore
the acute and long-term hazards of space travel and
how people combat them using real spacecraft and other
artifacts as spring boards to learning. In the activities,
students take on the role of engineers with a mission
to design safe equipment for space flight.
The
Destination: Space Pathway presents a K-8 curriculum
that
touches on a variety of topics including space science,
material
science and biology.
